Plague Marines are the disease-infested soldiers of the Death Guard, devoted servants of Nurgle, the Chaos God of decay and pestilence. Once proud Space Marines, they fell to corruption during the Horus Heresy, led by their Primarch, Mortarion, into Nurgle’s embrace. Their bodies, swollen with rot and fused to their power armor, are horrific testaments to entropy. Plague Marines carry the gifts of Nurgle—disease, decay, and endless rot—becoming walking vectors of infection that spread pestilence with every step. Even their wounds serve Nurgle’s will, further propagating his vile blessings.
