The Night Lords are one of the most feared Chaos Space Marine Legions in Warhammer 40,000, infamous for their sadistic tactics and mastery of psychological warfare. Originally the VIII Legion of the Emperor’s Space Marines, they were led by the grim and ruthless Primarch Konrad Curze, also known as The Night Haunter. The Night Lords were shaped by Curze’s dark upbringing on the crime-ridden world of Nostramo, which instilled in them a brutal sense of justice through fear. After their fall to Chaos during the Horus Heresy, the Night Lords became marauding terrorists, preying on the weak and spreading terror across the galaxy. They are masters of ambush and assassination, often adorning their armor with macabre trophies to unnerve their foes. Despite their allegiance to Chaos, many Night Lords remain cynical about the Chaos Gods, driven more by their own nihilistic philosophy than religious devotion. They are the embodiment of darkness and fear, bringing despair and suffering wherever their shadow falls.

The Drukhari, also known as the Dark Eldar, are the sinister and malevolent cousins of the Aeldari, dwelling in the shadowy city of Commorragh within the Webway. Unlike their Craftworld kin, the Drukhari embrace hedonism and cruelty, thriving on inflicting suffering to prolong their own lives. They are masters of stealth, speed, and pain, raiding realspace to capture victims for slavery, torture, or sacrifice. Their society is a brutal hierarchy ruled by Archons, Haemonculi, and Succubi, each vying for power through cunning and treachery. The Drukhari excel in lightning-fast strikes, utilizing sleek, venomous vehicles and agile warriors to overwhelm their enemies before vanishing back into the Webway. They are driven by an insatiable hunger for souls, a necessity to stave off the grasp of Slaanesh, whose birth marked the Aeldari’s fall. Cold, calculating, and utterly ruthless, the Drukhari are among the most terrifying foes in the galaxy, embodying the ultimate expression of selfishness and sadistic pleasure.
