Khârn the Betrayer: Khorne’s Avatar of Blood and Carnage
The Bloodthirsty Champion of Khorne
Khârn the Betrayer is one of the most infamous figures in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Once a captain of the World Eaters Legion, he was favored by his Primarch, Angron. With the Heresy came his descent into madness, consumed by Khorne, the Blood God. Now, Khârn is known not just for slaughtering enemies but for turning his fury on allies in his insatiable rage.
The Carnage of Skalathrax
Khârn’s most infamous act came during the Battle of Skalathrax. When a stalemate emerged between the World Eaters and the Emperor’s Children, Khârn broke it with unrelenting fury. Wielding his chainaxe, Gorechild, he butchered friend and foe alike to please Khorne. His betrayal shattered the World Eaters, reducing them to scattered warbands and cementing his legacy as the embodiment of carnage.
The Living Embodiment of Carnage
Now, Khârn roams the galaxy as Khorne’s unstoppable avatar of slaughter. Clad in bloodstained armor and wielding Gorechild, he brings ruin wherever he goes. Despite his madness, Khârn holds to a brutal sense of honor, refusing to kill the helpless. Yet his loyalty lies only with Khorne, and his presence signals one thing: “Blood for the Blood God, skulls for the Skull Throne.”
