Drawn from the desperate masses of hive cities, agri-worlds, and penal colonies, they form vast, expendable ranks, their lives traded en masse to stall the tides of alien invaders, Chaos forces, and traitorous uprisings. Death is a grim certainty—be it from their enemies or the iron discipline of their commissars, who demand unwavering loyalty at gunpoint.

Lacking power armor or genetic enhancements, they survive on sheer determination and their faith in the Emperor’s divine protection.
