The Blood-Driven Warriors of Khorne
Berserkers in Warhammer 40,000 are most famously embodied by the Khorne Berzerkers, elite Chaos Space Marines devoted to the Blood God, Khorne. These warriors are consumed by an unrelenting rage and a ceaseless desire for slaughter. Many were once noble Space Marines, primarily from the traitorous World Eaters legion, led by their Primarch Angron, who became Khorne’s favored champion. Shaped by Khorne’s influence, they often undergo the brutal implantation of Butcher’s Nails—cybernetic implants that erase all thoughts except for violence and bloodshed.
Whirlwinds of Carnage
In battle, Khorne Berzerkers are terrifying engines of destruction, wielding chainaxes and other savage weapons to carve through their foes. They live by the creed of their dark god: “Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne!” Charging headlong into combat, they aim to offer as many skulls as possible to Khorne, disregarding any semblance of tactics or self-preservation. Their attacks are characterized by sheer ferocity and overwhelming aggression, designed to crush even the most disciplined foes.
Fearless and Relentless
Immune to fear and utterly devoted to their god, Khorne Berzerkers fight with a single-minded intensity that makes them unstoppable on the battlefield. Their genetically enhanced Space Marine bodies, combined with their fanatical zeal, allow them to endure wounds that would kill lesser warriors. They charge forward without hesitation, fighting to their last breath, and are driven purely by the promise of bloodshed and glory in Khorne’s name.

Their presence on the battlefield signals impending devastation, as their fury and skill in combat leave trails of carnage in their wake.
