The Curse of the Flesh Change
Under Magnus’s leadership, the Thousand Sons Legion became unparalleled in their mastery of psychic powers, but this strength came with a terrible price. The Legion was plagued by the Flesh Change, a mutation caused by their reliance on the Warp, which threatened to destroy them. Desperate to save his sons, Magnus made a fateful pact with the Chaos God Tzeentch, gaining a reprieve from the Flesh Change but at the cost of his soul. This decision, driven by his love for his Legion and his thirst for power, sealed their eventual downfall and sowed the seeds of tragedy.
The Fall of Prospero
During the Horus Heresy, Magnus uncovered Horus’s betrayal and sought to warn the Emperor of the impending rebellion. However, his use of forbidden sorcery to deliver this warning shattered the Emperor’s trust. The Space Wolves were dispatched to Prospero, resulting in its catastrophic destruction and the near-annihilation of the Thousand Sons. Magnus, feeling betrayed and heartbroken, abandoned his father’s vision for humanity and turned fully to Chaos. This pivotal moment marked his final transformation into a servant of Tzeentch and a foe of the Imperium.
Daemon Prince of Tzeentch
Now a Daemon Prince, Magnus resides on the Planet of the Sorcerers, a twisted realm within the Warp gifted to him by Tzeentch. From t
