The Legend of Leman Russ



The Space Wolves trace their origins to the Great Crusade, when the Emperor of Mankind sought to reunite humanity under his rule. Their Primarch, Leman Russ, was discovered on Fenris, raised among its savage warrior clans, and quickly proved himself to be one of the most formidable figures in Imperial history. Russ was a warrior-king, embodying the strength and fury of his people, yet he remained fiercely loyal to the Emperor. His legend is filled with tales of great feasts, brutal battles, and unmatched heroism. To this day, his name is spoken with reverence among the Space Wolves, who strive to live up to his legacy through their deeds in battle.



The Fierce Culture and Warrior Traditions
