Khârn the Betrayer: From Loyal Captain to Khorne's Bloodthirsty Champion
Background
Khârn the Betrayer, once known simply as Khârn, is a notorious figure within the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Originally a Captain of the World Eaters Legion, Khârn was renowned for his tactical brilliance and unparalleled combat skills. Serving under his Primarch, Angron, Khârn was a key figure in the legion, embodying their dedication to martial excellence and relentless warfare. His allegiance to Angron and his devotion to the arts of war marked him as one of the most respected warriors of his time. However, his path would eventually lead him into the embrace of Chaos and the service of Khorne, the Chaos God of blood and war.

His defining moment came during the infamous Battle of Skalathrax, where, overcome with berserk fury, he turned on his own brothers, slaughtering allies and enemies alike. This act of betrayal fractured the World Eaters into countless warbands and solidified his title as “the Betrayer,” a symbol of his complete devotion to Khorne’s will.
Characteristics
Khârn’s appearance and demeanor reflect his transformation into a champion of Khorne. His weapon, the chainaxe Gorechild, is legendary for its ability to tear through even the thickest armor, leaving nothing but carnage in its wake. Khârn’s personality is the embodiment of berserk fury, with no regard for allies or strategy—only the desire to spill blood and claim skulls f
