The Role of an Inquisitor
Inquisitors in the Warhammer 40,000 universe are agents of the Inquisition, a secretive and immensely powerful organization tasked with protecting the Imperium of Man from heresy, corruption, and alien threats. Roles and Responsibilities
Inquisitors are divided into three main Ordos, each focused on combating specific threats to the Imperium. The Ordo Hereticus pursues heretics, mutants, and rogue psykers, often purging internal threats like cults and traitors within Imperial society. The Ordo Xenos specializes in countering alien influences, dealing with xenos technology, incursions, and the study of alien species to safeguard humanity. The Ordo Malleus is charged with combating daemonic threats and Chaos, taking on the most dangerous enemies of the Imperium, including daemons and Chaos-worshippers. Each Inquisitor works tirelessly in their domain, often collaborating with or commanding Imperial forces to achieve their goals.
Authority and Power
Inquisitors are granted nearly limitless authority to act in defense of the Imperium.
