Lord of Change, Greater Daemon of Tzeentch Miniature Oldhammer

Lord of Change: Tzeentch’s Feathered Harbinger

A Feathered Nightmare
This Oldhammer miniature is a vintage take on a Greater Daemon of Tzeentch, known as a Lord of Change. With its bird-like form, towering wings, and freakishly long limbs, it captures the alien madness of the Chaos God it serves. The model is painted in shifting shades of purple and blue, symbolizing the changing and unnatural nature of Tzeentch. Its arms are exaggerated, reaching high like it's about to cast some ruinous spell or rend reality in two. The clawed feet and beak-like arm evoke avian predators, but twisted into something wholly unnatural. It stands frozen in a moment of chaotic grace, like a sorcerous falcon mid-pounce.

The Ever-Mutating Form
This sculpt is a great example of the Oldhammer design style—bold, expressive, and unconcerned with symmetry. The daemon's left arm is a massive bird-skull claw, contrasting with its more humanoid right limb, reminding us that Chaos is anything but uniform. Its feathered wings are spread wide, each individually detailed in that old-school chunky way, adding a dynamic energy to the pose. The body is covered in scales and eyes, unsettling mutations meant to channel the raw power of the Warp. Nothing about this model looks stable—it’s constantly on the edge of transformation. That visual imbalance makes it feel like it might change again before your very eyes.

Architect of Fate
Tzeentch, the god this daemon serves, is the Chaos God of change, magic, ambition, and fate. He weaves the strands of destiny like a master puppeteer, manipulating events across galaxies to achieve unknowable ends. His followers are sorcerers, schemers, and manipulators, who seek forbidden knowledge and power over the fabric of reality. Unlike the brute force of Khorne or the decay of Nurgle, Tzeentch works in whispers, illusions, and complex plans that may take centuries to unfold. He is revered by many psykers and warlocks who believe that knowledge is the path to
