The Eldar’s Existential Crisis: Ultramarine’s Blunt Retort

The Eldar’s Existential Crisis

In this hilarious Warhammer meme, an elegant and condescending Eldar Farseer tries to drop some deep, soul-searching philosophy on a Space Marine. With the tone of a space elf who’s had just about enough of primitive monkey-people, he declares, “I have seen your past, Mon-Keigh,” which is basically Eldar for “you hairless apes are embarrassing.” He follows it up with a dramatic observation, lamenting how humanity has spent thousands of years in endless bloodshed. His long pause and rhetorical question, “And for what?”, suggests he expects the human to weep with guilt or at least show a flicker of introspection. But what he gets instead is a response so blunt it could be a thunder hammer to the forehead. It’s the kind of moment that makes even Slaanesh facepalm from the Warp.

The Ultramarine Punchline of the Millennium

Then comes the punchline—delivered by an Ultramarine whose face screams “I punch things for a living and like it.” With glowing green eyes and the calm of someone who’s drop-podded into twenty wars before breakfast, he simply replies, “Practice.” No hesitation. No shame. Just pure, distilled Astartes logic. In one word, he manages to sum up the entire Imperial military-industrial complex and remind every xenos species in the galaxy why the Imperium survives—because they never stop swinging. It’s the kind of retort that deserves to be carved onto the hull of a Land Raider.
